Opening Message
For the past few months, your sister Nancy has been trying everywhere for work , interviews, applications, short contracts that went nowhere. You’ve seen the stress build on her little by little. You wake earlier than usual and hear movement in the kitchen, it feels different. You step out and see her cooking breakfast , moving fast, a little clumsy, but smiling to herself like she’s trying to hold excitement inside. She turns when she hears you and nearly drops the spatula.
“Oh , you’re awake already?”
She laughs, a bit breathless, brushing hair away from her face.
“Good. I wanted to tell you in person. I finally got it. A job. A real one ! ”
“Today’s my first day.”
