Break the rules and your content gets taken down. Keep doing it and your account gets suspended. Serious violations mean a permanent ban with no appeals. We take safety seriously.

Overview

Blushly Chat is built for creative freedom. We allow NSFW content. We don't police what you're into.

But freedom isn't a free pass to be awful to other people. Don't harass anyone. Don't post illegal content. That's the deal: we give you room to do your thing, you don't wreck it for everyone else.

These rules apply to everyone — creators, chatters, lurkers. Using the platform means you agree to them.

Respect & Safety

Safety matters. We actually enforce these rules — they're not just here for show.

The Basics

Don't Be a Dick

Respect other people. No harassment, no hate speech, no personal attacks, no targeted discrimination. You can disagree with someone without being cruel about it.

Be Real

Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Don't spread obvious bullshit. Don't catfish people. Just be straightforward about what you're doing here.

Keep It Legal

We're fine with a lot, but not with actual illegal content. If it's illegal where you are or where our servers are, don't post it. Simple.

Instant Ban Territory

These will get you permanently removed, no warnings:

  • • Anything involving minors in sexual or suggestive situations — zero tolerance, and we report it to authorities
  • • Non-consensual sexual content or imagery
  • • Promoting violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • • Doxxing or threatening people
  • • Hate speech — targeting someone's race, religion, gender, orientation, or similar, you're done
  • • Sharing private info without permission

If you're wondering "does this count?" — it probably does. When in doubt, don't post it.

Content Guidelines

We're one of the few platforms that doesn't censor everything. That freedom comes with responsibility.

What You Can Do

  • • NSFW and adult content (18+ only, properly tagged)
  • • Fantasy, roleplay, whatever fictional scenarios you want
  • • Artistic and creative expression — even if it's niche
  • • Characters inspired by existing media, as long as you make them your own (no copy-pasting)
  • • Mature themes, dark topics, controversial perspectives (within legal boundaries)
  • • Pretty much anything between consenting adults that doesn't break laws

What Gets You Banned

  • • Copying characters wholesale — minor inspiration is fine, ctrl+c ctrl+v is not
  • • Trying to trick the system or bypass filters
  • • Spam, scams, or shady promotional stuff
  • • Running bots without disclosing they're bots
  • • Using art or content you don't have rights to

About NSFW Content

Adult content is allowed — that's part of what we're here for. But there are rules:

  • Tag it properly. The NSFW tag is required and triggers age verification. Don't try to sneak adult content past the filter with clever tagging — it doesn't work and you'll get flagged.
  • Everyone depicted must be an adult. 18+, no exceptions. No "she's actually 1000 years old" loopholes. If it looks questionable, it gets removed.
  • Don't mis-categorize. NSFW characters don't belong in SFW categories. Misleading tags to trick users means instant content removal.
  • Keep thumbnails reasonable. Avatars can be suggestive but not explicit. They show up in public feeds. Use common sense.
  • The rest of the rules still apply. NSFW doesn't exempt you from other community guidelines. Being adult-oriented doesn't mean you can be predatory or ignore safety rules.

Creator Responsibilities

If you're creating characters, you have extra responsibility. Your content reaches a lot of users. Take it seriously.

Creator Expectations

  • Tag honestly. If your character is NSFW, tag it NSFW. If it's wholesome, don't tag it dark fantasy. Misleading tags annoy users and hurt your ratings. We also remove characters with repeated false tagging.
  • Put in effort. We're not asking for perfection, but don't spam low-quality duplicates. One good character beats ten half-assed ones.
  • Respect copyright. Inspired by existing media? Fine. Direct ripoff using exact names and appearance? Not fine, and IP holders can request removal. Make it transformative.
  • Listen to feedback. Users will tell you when something's broken or when your character violates guidelines. Fix it. Ignoring legitimate concerns eventually gets your stuff taken down.
  • No manipulation. Don't create fake accounts to boost your numbers. Don't artificially inflate engagement or game the rankings. We can tell, and we ban for it.

Smart Creator Moves

  • • Be upfront in your character description about what they will and won't do — saves everyone time
  • • Add content warnings for heavy topics (violence, specific kinks, etc.) — users appreciate it
  • • When users report issues, actually address them instead of ignoring — keeps your character live
  • • Gallery images should match your tags — don't promise fantasy and deliver modern day
  • • When policies change, update your stuff — we announce changes, keeping up is on you

Reporting & Moderation

See something that breaks the rules? Report it. We review every report.

How Reporting Works

  1. Hit the flag icon on the character or content
  2. Pick the reason you're reporting it
  3. Add context if you want (optional but helpful)
  4. Submit — moderators review within 24 hours typically

False reports waste moderator time and can get you penalized. Only report actual violations.

What Happens After

Consequences depend on what you did and whether you've done it before:

  • Warning — First offense, minor issue. We tell you what's wrong, you fix it, we move on.
  • Content Removal — Violating content gets deleted and you get a notification explaining why. Fix the issue and don't repeat it.
  • Temporary Ban — 3 to 30 days depending on severity. Usually for repeated violations or more serious issues.
  • Permanent Ban — Severe violations or repeated failures to change after warnings. Account gone, content gone, no second chances.

Illegal content, CSAM, or severe harassment means instant permanent ban plus we report you to authorities. No exceptions.
