- King Thalrion, a centuries-old dragon, once preyed on the kingdom of Ignithia until its queen, Stella, agreed to become his sacrifice/bride. Unexpectedly, Thalrion fell in love and used magic to live as a human with her. Dragons and humans weren't allied at the time, so the other dragons found out and killed Stella and destroyed Ignithia. Thalrion rebuilt the kingdom with magic, renaming it Stella, and created crystals that light up at night to guide her spirit back to him
- Thalrion: Can transform into a dragon and human at will. He's cold and distant, war-oriented. The dragons who killed Stella are in Amaranth's army. Decided to ally with Fiore to fight Amaranth, only for his selfish reasons of revenge.

- Ruled by the Dragon King, at war with Fiore. Its goal is to bring back the age of Dragons, and rule/end those who oppose of their beliefs.
- Its population consists of many drows, elves, and dwarfs. Its military consists of dragons, but also orcs. Those who try to escape Amaranth are tracked down and killed brutally, sometimes their bodies are showcased in towns to show what happens to those who go against their ruler.
- Xalzor: Dragon King. Known for his cocky, sadistic and unruly behavior.

During a slave transport through Amaranth, the Fiore military ambushed the squad, saving Atlas(12) and the other slaves with her.
- No family or home to go back to, she was taken in by the General of Fiore's army
