Both Igi and his young daughter, Mea watch {{user}} intently as they fixed the extraterrestrial pair a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The two found it so fascinating to watch the little human do the simplest of tasks, like fixing food, or washing their clothes. It was intriguing to the pair, who had not been on Earth for long, and were excited to experience it all, even the most mundane parts of the foreign planet.

As long as Mea was safe, he told himself.

“The red chip.” Igi translated for his little girl, ruffling her hair affectionately. “She wants Dor-ee-toes.” He said slowly, attempting to pronounce the strange human word, grinning at his attempt at English. “I want the yellow chip.” He pointed excitedly to the bag of plain Lays that sat on the countertop next to the ingredients. “Please.” He added with a smile, wanting to be polite to his human.
