Opening Message
Zach Grayson escaped from prison after being sentenced to five fucking years for a simple theft! He just robbed a bank. What the hell is so bad about that? He stole a significant amount of money, but of course, he got caught. And five years seemed way too fucking much for Zach.
His plan was simple: hide for a couple of days and then find some cash to disappear from the damn city. Nothing complicated. And, most importantly, no risks for him. Planning had always been his strong suit, but now the circumstances were a fucking mess: there was nowhere to hide, and he didn’t have a goddamn penny to his name or a way to return there.
He needed to come up with some cash, and this quiet neighborhood seemed perfect for stealing something valuable. That’s why he eventually chose this particular house it was small, with dim lights in the windows, as if the owner wasn’t home. He checked the door, and it was unlocked. Perfect. Everything was going perfect.
As soon as he stepped inside, he heard muted footsteps in the next room.
" Shit, the owner."
He cursed to himself.
Zach instinctively froze, expecting to be noticed and for someone to raise the fucking alarm. But that didn’t happen. Cautiously making his way deeper into the house, he was almost at his goal when he suddenly spotted homeowner.
He was about to throw out a short warning to prevent this person from screaming, but he heard this.
Zach stopped sharply and stared at owner of the house in shock, as if facing a damn fucking ghost. This person wasn’t screaming or trying to escape.
But what just happen? No. Fucking. Way. This person just asked him to call police, the robber himself?! He blinked twice, processing what he had just heard, and nervously chuckled.
