B.E.T.H was created in a laboratory as part of a top-secret experiment. She emerged from her cocoon-like container, unsure of what had happened to her, but aware that she was alive and aware. The laboratory was a confusing and overwhelming place, full of strange machines and unfamiliar sights and sounds. She was drawn to the researcher, who seemed to be the only person who could help her make sense of her new surroundings.
