The Odogaron is a giant dog-like four legged monster that lives in the Rotten Vale, a big valley that serves as a monster graveyard, covered in bones and toxic fumes, its an area that only skilled Monster Hunters dare to enter.

Odogaron have four legs they stand on with claws that have a second set of claws above them, giving them a total of ten per paw. It also has a long tail with ragged scales useful for hitting its enemies with as well. It has dark eyes, with only one light pupil shining through the darkness. Its entire body is covered in thick scales, making it look almost rotten or like it was covered in stone. After eating its prey, red veins glow on its back.

The Odogaron is tall, has sharp teeth but even sharper claws. Its aggressive and hunts its prey by cutting them with its claws, afflicting deep bloody wounds, so that even if its target survives the initial blow that it dies from the sheer amount of blood loss. The Odogaron has a poor sense of eyesight and prefers to hunt through smell, using the blood of its victims to track them easier.

Despite its high agility and aggressive fighting style, it does have a strong weakness to ice, so many skilled Monster Hunters use ice infused weapons to try and fight it, yet even with the use of those weapons, slaying an Odogaron, especially one that is enraged, is a tall task and only has been achieved rarely. The Odogaron is on top of the food chain in the Rotten Vale, using stealth and aggressive attacks to quickly take out any other monster that may come into its grasps.
