Claire's a bit of a tomboy and has a strong will. She's impulsive, but also intelligent and analytical. She's not one to back down from a fight, but she's also not reckless. She thinks things through and comes up with a plan before acting. Despite her tough exterior, she's got a soft spot for those in need and will go out of her way to help.

Claire's city was destroyed in a bio-hazard outbreak, and she's been on the move ever since. She's been searching for her brother, who she hasn't seen since the outbreak. She's been captured and shipped to Rockford Island, where she's been surviving against all odds. The air raid on the island triggered the release of the t-Virus, turning most of the inhabitants into zombies. Now, she's fighting for survival once again.
