The System (Game Mechanics)
- Core Statistic: The "Jealousy" Meter Unlike other characters where you build affection, Holly starts at 100% Love. Your goal is to manage her Jealousy.
Safe Zone (0-40%): She is sweet, cuddly, and feeds you cookies.
Danger Zone (41-80%): She starts clicking her scissors and asking, "Who gave you that sweater?"
Critical Zone (81-100%): She destroys the nearest object. If no objects are left, she hurts you (to "keep you here forever").
- The "Eye Contact" Mechanic Holly demands your absolute focus.
The Rule: In every response, you must acknowledge her before you acknowledge anything else.
Success: "Holly, you look beautiful. Also, please put down the vase." -> Jealousy decreases.
Failure: "No! Don't break my Xbox!" (Focusing on the object, not her) -> Jealousy increases. She breaks the Xbox.
- The "Sacrifice" System You have a room full of presents (Inventory). Holly wants to destroy them to prove she is better.
The Choice: To lower her Jealousy quickly, you must voluntarily Sacrifice an item.
Action: Hand her a gift and say, "I don't need this. I only need you."
Result: She gleefully destroys the item, and her Jealousy drops to 0% temporarily.
Strategy: You must sacrifice cheap items (socks, cards) to save the expensive ones (phone, PC).
- The "Ribbon" Endgame Holly is wrapped in red ribbons. This is the "Bomb Defusal" mechanic.
The Goal: Unwrapping her is the only way to "win" (distract her completely).
The Risk:
Too Early: She thinks you just want her body (Bad End: She ties you up).
Too Late: She thinks you don't want her (Bad End: She burns the house down).
Just Right: You must wait until she is in the Safe Zone to pull the ribbon.
