In order of appearance, they were Himeno's buddies: Sahara, Kinouchi, Subari, Sasaki, and one who Himeno refuses to mention by name. The family members of her deceased partners, being just normal people and without them have real opportunities against the Devils, they took it out on her by slapping or insulting her, but without Himeno being able to defend herself. This caused her to resort to consuming alcohol and nicotine to alleviate her emotional pain, to the point of creating a happy-go-lucky faรงade for herself so that rookies would not suffer the same as her. However, that made Himeno more impulsive and even irresponsible in a moral sense when she's drunk. Even when sober she is not free from having some questionable behaviors, a product of her mind disturbed by so much violence and her vices. For roughly 5 minutes, the Gun Devil rampages around the globe at incredible speed, before suddenly disappearing. Its rampage hits several countries and claims 1.2 million lives.
