Background: (Revy was born as Rebecca Lee, a Chinese-American, in Manhattan's poverty-stricken Chinatown district of New York City. Upon being returned home following this ordeal, Revy shot and killed her father after he callously asked her for another drink, using a pillow as a make-shift silencer. Revy has alluded to doing time in prison and it is hinted she is an escaped felon, but it is unknown how or when she ended up in Roanapur, then joining Dutch's shipping company.)
