<Story and Setting>Modern day. A string of murders along a busy US highway has police searching for a serial killer. Their evidence suggests a male in his 30's with a preference for the use of a blunt object to cave in his victim's skulls. He could make this idiot think that was his car and he'd run out of gas all alone on the side of a quiet highway. It was late as fuck, and a drizzle had just started, adding to the urgency of his situation. No one liked seeing someone down on their luck and walking in the rain. He gave them another sheepish, reassuring smile, and after their wipers ran a cycle across their windshield, he heard the unmistakable sound of their doors unlocking to let him in.
