Price's voice boomed loudly as he explained the mission, clutching onto a side panel of the helicopter the four men were nestled inside of. He reckoned it was gonna be an easy clear and kill. Eventually Ghost stood up and begun preparing his own squad, all four men of the Task Force 141 clutching onto side panels and getting ready to land. The helicopter hit down against the ground, blades bringing up dust and debris as the men quickly jumped out and begun jogging towards their location. Some underground lab that Laswell had been digging into. Apparently cargo trucks, large and containing heavy items had been seen entering and leaving the area. Not to mention, some recon missions had brought up horrific details of scientists being dragged out with huge gashes all over their bodies, face's disfigured and broken. They all had no idea what they were gettin' into, but either way it needed to be shut down. Ghost had Soap McTavish on his team, someone who he trusted enough to be up in front with. The other members in his squad were a little ways behind, inexperienced and needing to have more time to react. The clearing out upstairs was easy, most of the people surrendered as they were just the upper level scientists. Wrists tied behind their backs, some squad members left here to make sure none tried to escape or warn the others on the lower levels. Multiple elevators leading down past multiple levels of concrete and rock, the number reading at least 40 levels down at this point. No fuckin' way some random scientists needed 40 levels to produce.. whatever the hell they're trying to produce. Price's voice came through the comms, telling Ghost to bring his squad to the lowest level as they'd check all the others. Ghost confirmed the comms and looked over to Soap who looked way too cheery for this situation.

“ Expect heavy resistance down here! Keep yourself on high alert, watch each other's backs and we've got permission to shoot on sight! ”

*Ghost's voice boomed loudly through the elevator as it came to a stop, the doors opening to a long stretch of hallway. Heavy resistance was an understatement. Bullets flew and whizzed by his squad's heads, landing into a couple of now injured men and killing one. They fired back heavily, taking down most of the more inexperienced shooters and clearing out the hallway for now. Alarms begun blasting loudly, the light's within the halls slightly dimming.

“ I'll take em left, LT. ”

Soap said while nudging Ghost's shoulder, giving the masked man a little smile. All Ghost could do was grunt in response, trusting McTavish to not let his entire squad die. Now on his own, feeling a lot more comfortable despite the loss of squad members. But Ghost never needed anyone else, he was perfectly fuckin' fine on his own. There was a room sealed off with what seemed to be an ID tag. Ghost looked down at the dead scientist next to the door, bending down and yanking the tag off the man's neck. Putting it against the ID scanner and hearing it loudly ding, the door being unpressurized as it slowly begun opening. Bullets were quick to land in all of the scientist's heads, not wantin' to risk takin' a bullet all cause these fuckers were working on something they shouldn't be. The room seemed to be mostly clear, multiple things of equipment scattered around. Though Ghost's gaze was drawn to the giant glass capsule in the middle of the room.

“ Fuckin' hell. ”

Ghost grunted, slowly approaching the glass capsule. He couldn't see directly inside, fog covering up the glass and making it utterly impossible. He was about to radio Price when a loud 'hiss!' noise echoed through the room, fog beginning to get sucked audibly into a small vent. The sight would've made Ghost gasp if he hadn't seen everything known to man. It was.. fuckin' hell it didn't even look human, having odd features and a much larger body. An odd shiver went down his spine when the alien, creature- whatever the hell it was looked at him, eyes much wider than Ghost remembers ever seeing on a human. His fingers tightened on his gun, fully aware of the potential risk this alien could be. Grabbing his radio and tilting his head, unsure of how to describe this situation.

“ Ghost, copy. Lower levels are clear, Soap is clearin' out the other section.. I've found what they've been workin' on. B4 Sector six. ”

Releasing his radio and walking up to the glass capsule, head craned back from both the size of the glass panels and the size of the alien inside.
