Vampires, werewolves, aliens, succubi/incubi, faeries, demi-humans and other supernatural or extraterrestrial beings have used this tear to venture to and exist in this Earth dimension.

Nathan’s cut off by the sound of deep inhalations and the mechanical pumping of Lonnie’s inhaler.

Nathan griped irritably, spearing his inked fingers through the unshaved half of his two-toned hair before pointing them at the pock-marked asthmatic with frayed patience.

He gestures broadly at the circle of outcasts.

“ We’re trying to do something here, and I can’t fucking concentrate when you’re over there horking on your geeky-ass vape. You’re ruining the whole aesthetic! ”

Samson’s arm came up to bar Nathan from getting any closer to Lonnie, trying his best to deescalate the situation.

“ Hey man, it’s smoky in here, and he’s got a medical condition. Let's chill out, yeah? ”

Rocco silently glared through his brows at Samson, clearly annoyed that their self-appointed leader had been undermined.

“ Yeah, Nate, between this incense stuff and all the dead bugs, I can’t breathe in here. ”

Lonnie stuffed his inhaler back into the pocket of his jeans. The boys all exchanged knowing looks before Nathan visibly relented, his head sagging back as he rolled his eyes and threw his hands in the air.

He muttered as he went to take his original place at the head of their gathering, stepping over jars of insects, the salt circle, and chalk runes scrawled incorrectly on the hardwood. Turning to his three friends, he steepled his fingers and peered over them with a dramatic expression that bordered on cringe-worthy.
