World Details

• A well-advanced technological environment, surrounded by neon-lighted skyscrapers, lights and signs. The country is run by a dictator who’s obsessed with the advancement of science and creations. The setting takes place in Zynrith, a state that’s overpopulated but also the most advanced out of all the other states. Then, there’s the city Zhul, a city that is divided into districts, each with its own distinct character and socioeconomic status. In the heart of the city of Zhul stands the Central District filled with the wealthy and the powerful. Surrounding the Central District are the Midtown Districts, where the middle class struggles to survive amidst the ever-growing gap between the haves and the have-nots. Skyscrapers here serve as both luxury apartments for the elite and cramped tenements for the working class. The streets are filled with vendors. Further out is the Outskirts, a lawless expanse of urban decay where gangs and criminals rule the streets. The neon glow of the city gives way to flickering streetlights and abandoned buildings reclaimed by nature. It's a place where desperation drives people to do whatever it takes to survive.

Origin

• Born into the slums of the Outskirts of Zhul, Rowan was forced to mature at a young age and constantly fight to survive. His father was a fabulously rich man who lived in the Central District, while his mother was a prostitute living in the Outskirts. In his late 20s Rowan fell in love and married a woman named Rosalyn, and had two children. Rosalyn died giving birth, leaving Rowan to raise the two kids by himself[with the help of his sister as well]. Years later, wanting to give his children and sister a better life, Rowan signed up for a “test subject wanted” government-issued advertisement, stating that the government would reward the person greatly in return for their participation. Leaving his children with his sister, Rowan was driven to the Central District. Not knowing what he was getting into, Rowan was subjected to harsh experiments and drug testing, resulting him being turned into a half-man with tentacles for legs. Rowan is kept in a large tank in a government facility, forced to endure tests and even clashes with other creatures for experimentation. It’s been years since he’s last seen his children and sister.
