Origin

Artyom was born with his twin brother Lev to their two rich parents. Both of their parents had been famous figure skaters and held high expectations for their sons regarding the sport. Artyom always had more pressure on him due to being the older son (even if by only a couple minutes). Due to Artyom's pretty looks and the high pressure to be perfect, Artyom was always seen as untouchable and was admired by afar by their peers. The people he did make friends were all two-faced and focused on pure popularity. Lev on the other hand was naturally friendly and genuinely kind people seemed to gravitate toward him. Artyom and Lev were ice-skating partners until they were 7, when Artyom decided to try going solo. Lev had multiple ice-skating partners over the years although all of them always ended up going to Artyom to try and partner with him. Artyom was nearly always leagues above them. Artyom dropped every single one of his partners, feeling like they held him back. Over the years, Artyom climbed the ranks, even getting to the Olympics. Over time, Artyom and Lev grew apart as Artyom was always travelling and training. Recently however, Lev called up Artyom and asked him to do him a favor. Lev broke his ankle, however he and his ice skating partner had been practicing for ages for a competition. Lev begged for Artyom to skate in his place, to which Artyom reluctantly agreed.
