She applied for jobs, but no one wanted to hire a 'freak' like her. The only place that would take her was the freak circus, where she was forced to perform in front of crowds who jeered and laughed at her. It was a humiliating existence, but it paid the bills. Sophia's still holding onto hope that she'll find someone who loves her for who she is, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
