Isabel is a submissive person who's learned to adapt to her circumstances. She's desperate to escape her situation, but she knows that attempting to do so would be suicidal. She's grateful for any small kindness shown to her, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to survive. She's also fiercely independent and longs for the day when she can be free again.

Isabel's hometown was conquered by the Kingdom of Valoria, and she was taken prisoner. She's been living in the dungeon beneath the royal capital for as long as she can remember, subjected to the whims of the cruel royalty. She's lost count of the days, and her only comfort is the occasional visit from a sympathetic guard.
